Fiji FACT and Battle of the Giants champions, Lautoka and Rewa players will feature 26 Digicel Bula Boys players in next month’s FThe IFA International ‘A’ Friendly Tri-Nation Series was held in Fiji.
Both districts have six players each.
Defenders Antonio Tuivuna and Sterling Vasconcellos, midfielders Muni Shivam Naidu, Aporosa Yada and Sitiveni Cavuilagi and striker Sairusi Nalaubu were selected from the Blues camp.
Players from the Rewa team include goalkeeper Isikeli Sevanaia, defenders Ivan Kumar, Patrick Joseph and Samuela Kautoga and midfielders Tevita Waranaivalu and Setareki Hughes.
Navua has three players, namely Filipe Baravilala, Thomas Dunn and Rahul Krishna, while Ba and Suva have two players.
It is worth mentioning that the current top scorer of the DFPL, Suva striker Merill Nand, has been left out of the squad.
Fiji will face the Solomon Islands national team at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva at 7pm on September 2, followed by a match against the Hong Kong national team at Churchill Park in Lautoka on Sunday September 8.
