Mzogi: Administrative court verifies sponsorship rejected by Issi
Imen Mzoughi, a judge and member of the Communications and Information Division of the Administrative Court, said the body had dismissed all appeals related to the publication of the preliminary list of presidential candidates by the Independent High Electoral Authority (Isie). The elections are scheduled for October 6, 2024.

The judge explained that the condition for submitting the No. 3 ballot had been ruled unconstitutional in the past. She said that Isi did not have to add conditions that were not mentioned in the law. Checking whether a person enjoys political and civil rights can be done in different ways.
Imen Mzoughi said candidates can still appeal the decision made by the Administrative Court. They have 48 hours to do so. This period starts from the date of notification. A hearing will then be arranged within a period not exceeding three days from the date of the appeal.
