The Taipei International Computer Show (COMPUTEX 2024) was held at the beginning of this month. The focus of this year’s computer show is of course AI. Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of American chip manufacturer Nvidia, demonstrated a number of AI innovations in his opening speech, including the latest AI chips and AI computing platforms. He emphasized that the advancement of AI technology is accelerating the digital transformation of various industries, from medical care, finance to manufacturing. This year’s theme of InnoVEX, the innovation and start-up exhibition area, emphasizes the importance of green technology, showcasing innovative products in green energy and environmental protection technology, including renewable energy systems, smart energy-saving equipment and environmental monitoring solutions, aiming to help enterprises and society achieve more sustainable development.

This year’s Taipei Computer Show also held a number of summit forums and seminars, where technology experts, business leaders and scholars from around the world gathered together to share their opinions and views on the future development of technology, including discussions on AI ethics and privacy protection, and exploring how to protect user privacy and data security while AI technology is rapidly developing.
