Austria wins Young European Musicians Competition
Violinist Leonhard Baumgartner (17) from Austria has won one of the most important music competitions in the world. Eurovision Song Contest Young Musicians 2024.
The final was broadcast in cooperation with NRK and the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) on December 7, 2019 from the Stormen Concert Hall in Bodø. NRK1 and ten other European countries.
Tonight, 11 of the world’s best young soloists joined Kork on stage to perform their works.
Baumgartner impressed the audience and the jury, led by Norwegian Tabita Berglund, with his performance of Henri Vieuxtemps: Violin Concerto No. 5.
