Oswaldo Meynard, a teacher of about 55 years old, was shot dead by the alleged assailants on a street in Veracruz Gardens, Managua, early Sunday morning.
The News Hunter said Maynard was walking home with his son when a passenger in a taxi shot him several times.
According to this version, Maynard tried to cross the street and the taxi passengers nearly ran him over, about which he complained to them, an argument ensued and one of the passengers shot him.
Another unofficial version suggests that the perpetrators were allegedly attackers on motorcycles.
A security guard explained that two men on motorcycles passed suspiciously on the street three times and walked toward where the victim was walking, shooting at the victim under unknown circumstances.

The National Police is expanding its investigation into the case to clarify the events and catch the perpetrators.
