DAKAR, 18th August, 2024 (WAM) — Senegal has announced the launch of its first satellite, “GindeSat-1A”.
The satellite, which was launched on Friday aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Base in California, is designed to monitor the Earth and collect and analyze data to support natural resource management, disaster prevention and agricultural development, local media reported.
