An entrepreneur from Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname, is determined to uncover the culinary secrets of American fast food giants KFC and Popeye’s.
GFC News Lifestyle learnt from a source in her social circle that the lady, who is known for her skills in the kitchen, has been trying to emulate the chains’ signature chicken dishes for months.
To launch these delicacies in her restaurant, the entrepreneur even enlisted her circle of friends to serve as a tasting panel.
However, despite her efforts and creativity, matching the perfect combination of tenderness and crispiness that the American chain is famous for proved to be quite a challenge.
The difficulty lies in the secret recipe these fast food chains use, a closely guarded secret that has given them a competitive advantage for decades.
Ingredients, preparation methods and special spice blends are so strictly controlled that it is almost impossible to exactly replicate the original flavor.
Although the entrepreneur hasn’t had any success so far, she continues to search.
She hopes that her persistence will eventually allow her to create similar dishes and win the hearts of her customers.
