These are the best-selling items in Pukkelpop’s merchandise shops, record stores and chip shops

It’s almost closing time at Pukkelpop. It’s slowly getting to the checkout time. Which potato chip snacks, vinyl records and band shirts are selling best? We’ve done the research for you.

In the Music Mania record shop in Ghent, the boxes full of vinyl records are still well browsed. Pearls of the Pukkelpop series are on offer. For example, Pommelien Thijs, Charlotte de Witte and Soulwax. But Fred Again in particular.. is the most popular, confirms Jasper and Jeroen from the music shop. “We had four albums from Fred Again… 100 to 150 copies in total. Almost everything is gone. We still have about ten of the latest ones,” they say. “Brihang and Soulwax are also doing well.” (Read more below the photo)

There was no Fred Again.. or Charlotte de Witte on the merchandise. Many bands chose not to offer anything for sale. On Sunday, The Offspring had the fastest-selling shirts. Fontaines DC and Electric Callboy also did well. (Read more below the photo)

It’s no surprise that the mayonnaise chips remain the most popular item in the chip shop. “We have four jars of sauce here and our biggest – the mayonnaise – is empty,” said one employee. “On Thursday we sold 1,000 kilos of chips in one night. How many people are we now? We actually have no idea.” The most popular snack is the boulet.
