Ghanaian actress, film producer and mother of four, Nadia Buari, recently revealed a surprising side of herself that many of her fans may not know about.
In a video shared by Nadia on her Instagram page, she is seen making fufu, a beloved Ghanaian dish, as she expertly turns the dough in a mortar accompanied by an unidentified man.
The actress also highlighted how fufu is a cherished Sunday staple in many Ghanaian households.
Ghanaian fufu is traditionally prepared by boiling starchy ingredients such as cassava, yams or plantains and pounding them with a pestle until smooth and elastic. The mixture is then shaped into balls and eaten with a variety of soups.
Nadia Buari is usually seen as a sophisticated figure who is rarely associated with domestic matters. However, her recent appearance in a traditional Ghanaian household has changed people’s perceptions.
