Young Moroccan judokas won several medals during the 2024 African Judo Championships (Cadet) held from August 15 to 18, 2024 in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
The competition brought together the best talents in the cadet category from the entire African continent. Moroccan athletes won gold, silver and bronze medals in different weight categories, thus establishing Morocco as one of the great judo powers in Africa.
The gold medalists for Morocco were Amina El Allaoui Charifi (52kg) and Yasmine Hariss (70kg). The only silver medal for Morocco was won by Ilyas Aijoui (60kg). Finally, Anis Aijoui (55kg) won the bronze medal.
