Utrecht bicycle attacker once convicted of rape: media

The man, who is wanted for knocking two women off their bicycles in Utrecht at night, had previous convictions for violent sex crimes, Dutch media reported.

Police declined to release any information about the man but released his photo and said an international arrest warrant had been issued because he may now be abroad.

according to telegraph, The man, Michael van H, was sentenced to three years in prison and psychiatric treatment in 2016 for the violent rape in a park in Dordrecht. He was 27 when he was convicted.

Police also released photos of the vehicle Van H was driving during the recent attacks, a white Kia with the logo of a pharmacy chain emblazoned on it.
