(CNS): Police raided an East Side residence on Sunday morning and arrested two men, aged 46 and 31, for multiple drug-related offences. Police said the operation, conducted under the Misuse of Drugs Act, was conducted around 11:30 a.m. on June 2. When they arrived, the young man was sitting in a vehicle at the location, but he fled the location on foot. Police searched the vehicle and found a large amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Police then searched the second man in the house and found drugs on him. He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to distribute cannabis and cocaine.
Police also searched the home but said nothing else was found.
On Wednesday, police tracked down the man who had fled the scene and arrested him for the same offense and for possession of more marijuana.
