German government still has deal on 2025 budget

The German government reached an agreement on the 2025 budget plan on Friday. Thanks to the agreement, the budget deficit for next year will be reduced from 17 billion euros to 12 billion euros, instead of the previously planned 9 billion euros. Traffic Light Alliance spokesman Steffen Hebestreit announced the news in a written statement. “German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Economy Minister Robert Habeck and Finance Minister Christian Lindner have reached an agreement,” the statement said.
