Míla hf., a wholesale company in the electronic communications market, was fined for providing incorrect and insufficient information to the Telecommunications Authority.
This was reported in the notification Telecommunications Administration website However, Mirahf. was required to pay an administrative fine of 3 million Icelandic kronor.
The problem was that, despite Fjarskiptastofa giving Míla hf instructions on several occasions, Míla did not inform Fjarskipstastofa of the company’s existing purchase plans for the Skaftárhrepp fibre network until after they had walked around the yard. The level of culpability for this action was rated as fairly high.
