Tegucigalpa – The Public Ministry (MP) detailed this Friday that it is carrying out actions aimed at completely depriving the assets of a corruption network linked to the late Hilda Hernández and former officials to embezzle more than 101 million in state funds.

The communication details that the lawsuit filed by the deputies in court to deprive them of ownership of assets of illegal origin concerns 56 real estate properties, five commercial companies, 14 financial products and 29 vehicles (buses) located in the departments of Francisco Morazán, Paz, Santa Barbara, Cortes and Atlantis.
The request seeks to recover from the State more than 101 million lempiras, money drained by briefcase companies created for this purpose between 2013 and 2018, with funding from the Presidency, the National Assembly, the Secretariat of Agriculture and Livestock (SAG) and the National Agricultural Development Bank (BANADESA).
The companies that were asked to deprive of insurance include Inversiones Santa Elvira of the late Hilda Rosario Hernández Alvarado and Miriam Vanessa Cruz (spouse of Juan Antonio Hernández Alvarado); C2, the builder of Claudia Yamila Noriega, former coordinator of the La Cachureca card project, and Carol Vanessa Alvarado, former financial manager of the presidential palace and former budget director of SEDIS; and Commercial Madeira, the transport of Claudia Yamila Noriega, Tita, her brother, former deputy Norman Guillermo Noriega, and Guillermo Noriega Suárez (father of Claudia Yamila Noriega).
In addition, one of the demands of the deputies is the construction of a Versailles apartment building in Lomas del Guijarro, Tegucigalpa, in the name of Claudia Yamila Noriega, who transferred two apartments to relatives of former minister Roberto Antonio Ordóñez Wolfovich. In addition, Gloria Margarita Vargas (sister of Hilda Rosario Hernández Alvarado) owns a home in the El Sauce residential complex in Comayaguira.
Finally, it is also requested that bank accounts and frozen financial products registered in the names of former Environment Minister José Antonio Galdamez (husband of Carol Vanessa Alvarado) and the late Hilda Rosario Hernández Alvarado, as well as other related persons, be completely expropriated.
