Marrakech security guard stops a reckless driver

Yesterday evening, Thursday night, the Marrakech Security Provincial Police arrested a 38-year-old French citizen of Moroccan origin on suspicion of evading the crime of dangerous driving under the influence and causing personal injury.

According to security sources, the suspect rammed a group of vehicles on Marrakech’s main street, injuring three cyclists and two pedestrians with varying degrees of injuries. These crimes were the subject of a video circulating on social media. The police immediately intervened, leading to his arrest, before he was surrounded by road users, in a severely intoxicated state.
