Why does the crisis for artist Haifa Wehbe persist after Egypt lifted the ban?

Ahmed Abu Majid, secretary of the “Music Profession”, revealed that the complaint submitted to the union by the concert organizer Yasser Hariri about Haifa Wehbe finding presenters for her unpromised concerts has not yet been resolved.

He added in a statement to local media that “the union is determined to complete its investigation of the artist, which is scheduled to take place next Sunday.”

The Union of Performing Professions, headed by artist Ashraf Zaki, issued a statement to the Union of Music Professions and its president, artist Mustafa Kamel, informing them of the lifting of the suspension of Lebanese artist Haifa Wehbe after she reconciled with the actor. The company demanded that she be banned from performing in Egypt.

The statement from the Performing Occupation reads, “Regarding the issue of not granting any license to the artist Haifa Wehbe until she fulfills her obligations to Al-Remas Art Production, we would like to point out that we have received a letter from the aforementioned company, in which it is stated that the parties will reach a settlement and amicably drop the complaint against the artist Haifa Wehbe. Therefore, we would like to inform you that the subject of the complaint has been preserved and we have lifted the suspension on August 14. /2024. While we always appreciate your sincere cooperation, please accept my sincere regards and appreciation.”
