NASSAU | Police have now concluded their 81st homicide investigation, the second homicide investigation today (Thursday, August 15).

This afternoon, police found the body of a man in the waters of Old Stuart Bay, his head and legs bound with ropes (Mafia style). The man is believed to be in his twenties. Police have no leads in their investigation and cannot confirm if the man is Bahamian.

What we can say now is this: The victim was found in the condition described above, with multiple stab wounds. That’s all we know. He was the second person killed within hours of each other.

Just after noon today, North Bimini police received a call about a fatal shooting that left James Sands, 32He was allegedly shot dead by a Jamaican national Shandae Anthony Brown, 28.
