NASSAU | Police have now concluded their 81st homicide investigation, the second homicide investigation today (Thursday, August 15).
This afternoon, police found the body of a man in the waters of Old Stuart Bay, his head and legs bound with ropes (Mafia style). The man is believed to be in his twenties. Police have no leads in their investigation and cannot confirm if the man is Bahamian.

Just after noon today, North Bimini police received a call about a fatal shooting that left James Sands, 32He was allegedly shot dead by a Jamaican national Shandae Anthony Brown, 28.
In this incident SandsThe former resident of Abaco Island was on the golf course at the island’s Fisherman’s Village Pier when the gunman approached him and shot him in the head, killing him. When police arrived, he was already dead.
Sands arrived in Bimini more than a year ago, lying motionless on the ground with blood pouring from his upper body. It was a horrific scene.
