This afternoon, Assistant Cultural Advisor for Financial Affairs Hashim Mehrafi attended a media discussion on the master’s thesis of Riyad Daoud Ali Abdullah Adib, a researcher at the Arab Institute in Cairo.
The discussion began with the reading of the Fatiha for the souls of the dead. The main mentor of the research paper, scholar Professor Mahmoud Alam Al-Din, died three days before the discussion. In this article, the researcher briefly introduces his paper, titled “The handling of political events and issues in the Yemeni media between 2015 and 2020 and its impact on public credibility”, in which he explains the goals of his message, its importance and the measures he took.
An open discussion followed, during which the discussion committee and the researcher praised the study and the content presented by the researcher in his thesis, which was considered one of the outstanding papers in the field of journalism and media, and awarded him the award of Master of Arts in Media Studies, with a major in Journalism, with overall excellent results.
