Amazon Games Announced New World: Eternal will be in open beta from September 13 to 16. Starting September 12, you’ll be able to start pre-loading the beta on any platform.
The public beta is playable on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and is open to players in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Cross-platform play between consoles and PC will be available during the public beta.
This open beta will allow players to try out New World: Eternal before the full game launches on October 15, as participants will have access to an initial experience and quests up to level 30. As they venture into the vast supernatural world from Eternal, players will unlock mounts, arenas, and several expeditions.
Participants in the public beta will also have the opportunity to earn rewards during their experience. All rewards unlocked during the public beta will be available at launch.
In addition to New World, Amazon has more projects in the works
At the end of May, Amazon also announced a partnership with Maverick Gamesis a studio created by former Forza Horizon developers to create a new open-world driving game that will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The publishing deal joins Amazon Games’ growing portfolio of titles, which includes open-world role-playing games New World and Lost Ark, as well as upcoming games Thrones and Liberty and the next major entry in the Tomb Raider series.
“We founded Maverick Games with a clear vision: to build a developer-centric studio that fosters an environment of creativity and risk-taking,” said Mike Brown In the interview.
“This approach has enabled our team to create the best work of their careers. Ultimately, it means we are creating a game that players will fall in love with. Without giving too much away, I will share that the team here is excited about our game, and we can’t wait to share it with the world.”
However, the exact release date of the game is still unclear.
