The judges’ voice

Judges, magistrates and even SCJN ministers are ready to participate in the national debate on reforming the judiciary. They can support or oppose the 4T proposals, but they cannot fail to participate, give their reasons and reveal their truth so that it can be recorded in the minutes.

As has been said, the only thing the judiciary cannot do is maintain the status quo. It needs to be shaken up, and it needs it quickly.

The first thing is to make the work of members of the judiciary transparent, which is the right of citizens, because no one should be blinded to this, because public funds are used. There is no room for secrecy.

The participation of judges does not mean endorsing changes they do not support. It is fulfilling a responsibility to explain to citizens their work and where the administration of justice in the country needs to improve, because no one can be satisfied with what we have today.

UNAM: Reform is coming

Rector Leonardo Lomeli, a distinguished historian and economist, is aware of the complexity of the reforms that the National University must carry out within the framework of the Institutional Development Plan 2023-2027.

Women’s walking stick

The growing expectation that a woman president of the republic will do things differently and better is a historic event that has received little of the attention it deserves.

“With Claudia we all arrive” is the motto of the various women’s groups that want to support the proposal of the virtual president-elect, “A Mexico without us”.

AMLO and his gap
