The 31st Huila Fair opens today in Lubango, with more than 400 national and international companies participating to showcase their services to the visiting public

The Minister of State for Economic Coordination, José de Lima Massano, spoke at the opening of the Huila Fair, part of the celebrations of Our Lady of the Mountain, and stressed the importance of this event in the country’s economic life.
The ministerial leader stressed the importance of agricultural production in Huíla province, which has contributed to its economic growth in recent years.
José de Lima Massano also highlighted the economic potential of Huila, especially the mining sector, which has attracted more than 400 business people to participate in Expo Huila 2024.
“Huila is a province with great economic potential. In the agricultural sector, it produces a wide range of crops on a large scale and also has potential in livestock, which, if developed, can contribute to the creation of income and employment opportunities,” he said.
