this The National Oil Company (ENAP) published this Wednesday its report in which it forecasts changes in fuel costs for Thursday, August 15.

According to the ENAP report, the following changes in gasoline prices are expected this week:

-93 octane gasoline: $4.70 per liter increase.

-97 octane gasoline: $3.70 per liter increase.

– Kerosene (paraffin): reduced by $29.1 per liter.

-Diesel: $21.80 per litre reduction.

– Liquefied petroleum gas for vehicles: an increase of US$29.5 per litre.

These fluctuations reflect international price dynamics and other factors that directly affect the Chilean market.

ENAP points out that the fall in paraffin prices is particularly important for many families They rely on this fuel to heat their homes, especially in the coldest parts of the country.

As usual, the state company stressed that one of its functions is the marketing of oil derivatives with distribution companies, “which independently set the sales prices to their customers.”

“Enap does not set or regulate fuel prices in the Chilean market. Therefore, in no case can this report be considered that Enap determines, sets or defines price references or values for final consumers, which are free under open and competitive market conditions,” they concluded.
