Police have set up a cordon around a property in Tūrangi this morning and have guards at the scene.
Two police officers are guarding the property and the adjacent footpath has been blocked off.
Two police cars were parked outside the house and one in the driveway.
A neighbour said they heard an ambulance arrive around 10:30pm but “didn’t hear any commotion before that”.
