National Resistance Humanitarian Team continues to deliver aid to people affected by floods in southern Hodeidah

The National Resistance Humanitarian Action Group continues to coordinate with the West Coast Emergency Committee and with the support of the Emirates Red Crescent to rapidly deliver emergency assistance to people affected by heavy rains south of Hodeidah.

In this regard, the Humanitarian Action Group of the National Resistance Movement today (Wednesday) targeted the affected people in the Haija Ubaid area of ​​Hais rural area.

Assistance includes full food baskets for all affected households, based on accurate field inventories and continuously updated data, to ensure that every affected household receives assistance.

The rescue operation was carried out on two fronts by the National Resistance Humanitarian Action Team with the support of the Emirates Red Crescent. Precautionary measures were taken through earth mounds and buffer zones to protect population centres and farms from flooding, and to provide food and shelter assistance to all those affected in all areas affected by heavy rains on the west coast.
