Courier injured by a bottle of beer – The Ministry of the Interior has arrested a wanted criminal. According to the agency, a 37-year-old man with a criminal record has been arrested.
“The staff of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Adjara Police Department, through joint operational measures and investigative actions, arrested NM, a wanted criminal born in 1986, who had been convicted of the crime of intentional grievous bodily harm and illegal purchase and possession of firearms.
In July this year, the defendant NM deliberately shot one of the company’s couriers in the legs with a gun, causing serious bodily harm, and fled the scene.
According to the Tbilisi City Court ruling, NM was sentenced in absentia to prison as a precautionary measure for a crime punishable by up to seven years in prison.
The accused has been shifted to the prison institution,” said sources in the home ministry.
