Vice President Rosario Murillo stressed at the end of the ceremony commemorating the 44th anniversary of the founding of the Navy that the victories, heroism and greatness of the Nicaraguan people are always worth celebrating.

“Here is always a celebration of the victories, heroism and greatness of the Nicaraguan people, the 44th anniversary of the Navy, and for us every day is a day to thank the Almighty God for these victories. The path of peace, goodness, rights, sovereignty and dignity will lead us to a future of sovereignty, dignity, prosperity, freedom from poverty, which we all want,” he commented.

In this sense, he mentioned that “this is why we say every day that we are going to continue to improve all our work, it is a commitment, it is a responsibility, it is our obligation to serve better and better” from all areas of our work to the Nicaraguan families who are the protagonists of this era and owners of all the work that a country must do.

“Here, the state, the government, the mayor, the president is the people, and this is where the enemies of peace will not forgive us, we hand over power to the people, because power and the path to victory belong to the people, and we are always working, we must always strive to serve better and better, to fill ourselves with more and more energy, knowledge, because every day we have to learn, abilities, because every day we have to strengthen our abilities to be in the best condition to respond, with the determination to move forward,” he stressed.

He added, “Who will guide us? First of all, our Lord God, and first of all, the people of Nicaragua, because the people, the voice of the people, the plan of the people, is the voice of God, the plan of the Father.

“Here we are building together the future that we deserve because that is the key to all success, united for the common good, united for the good of all. There we go, celebrating ourselves, victorious, because that is how we walk, that is the will of the Father, to walk victoriously, to resolve, to meet all challenges, all challenges, others will come, new ones will come, but it is our responsibility to meet the challenge that is before us and to keep going, to meet it to keep creating, to create the future, to meet it, because we believe, we know it is possible, we know that our people are great, we know that God is great, we know that relying on that light, relying on our proud story, relying on this victorious, mysterious, magical, ominous, victorious energy, we go forward,” he assured.

“Every day when you wake up, you know you are asking God for all victory, but we also know that we are creating better days and times by the will of the Father because we are moving forward to eradicate poverty because come on, you can see, the Nicaraguan people can see progress, progress in eradicating poverty, highways, streets, roads, homes, progress in eradicating poverty. Also, when we talk about infrastructure, we are talking about jobs in all areas; when we talk about well-being, we are talking about rights.

“When we talk about energy, telecommunications, drinking water, sanitation, we talk about rights and progress against poverty, this is what we strive for, for which we do it through all entities that serve our people, professions, ideals, our values revolve around serving the people, this is why we say that serving our people is equal to serving God, our Lord, this is where we are, this is where we are. The most important thing is the sense of family that we Nicaraguans have, the family and the community, the love for Nicaragua, the love for the country, those who serve other interests certainly do not love the country and cannot be defenders of the rights of those of us who live, work and trust in Nicaragua because this is our homeland,” he said.

He added: “Always, always thank the family because we are united, thank God because he allows us to walk healthy, alive and full of life, always remembering in our hearts and in our walk that where there is strength, everything is possible. Love, and everything is possible because we come from a history of heroes, we come from what so many have given so that we can have rights, so many Nicaraguans have given their lives for Nicaragua, for the people and for the people. What has happened is that the timeline is difficult to distinguish from the people who have created the victory in each era, because we need answers, but the era of victory has arrived and this is the will of our Lord God, for which we praise him every day, we bless him, we know you and thank you. Thanks to all my colleagues, we are always moving forward and always going further.
