The Fiji Hydroplanes Fijians will go into camp this Saturday to begin preparations for the Pacific Nations Cup.
Head coach Mick Byrne mentioned that according to World Rugby regulations, the team can only assemble a week before the game, which means they cannot start training in advance.
“The overseas players will arrive on Friday and our training camp will officially begin on Saturday,” said Byrne.
“We will take care of administrative matters, conduct medical checks and have a strategy meeting later in the day. Our first practice is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.”
The Fiji Flyers will take on Manu Samoa at the HFC Bank Stadium next Friday at 6pm.
