Ahmed Diriyeh Yabu, deputy mayor for security in Banadir, said that while the government was willing to address grievances, protests must follow legal procedures. “Today’s protest on Makka Mukalam Road was illegal and chaotic,” Yabu said. “If drivers have concerns, they should express them through official channels. In the future, any unauthorized demonstrations will be severely punished.”
