Post by public figure Karen Hekimyan: “The privatization process in Armenia began in 1991.
Artsvashen is an integral part of RA, which was transferred (exchanged) in August 1992. This means that at the time of Artsvashen transfer (exchange), many people in Artsvashen had already privatized their land and other real estate. All information about the ownership of the latter must be kept in the RA State Archives, and therefore, it will serve as the basis for possible sales of land and other real estate by notaries and the Cadastral Commission. In other words, if an RA citizen (such as me) wants to buy a property in Artsvashen, he should be able to do so without any obstacles. According to this, what prevents principled citizens from buying land in Artsvashen and legally owning their property? In addition, it is possible to find foreigners willing to help Armenia, who agree to buy land and own their property in Artsvashen. This will be a valuable help for Armenia.
For example, I would purchase a piece of land in Artsvashen through legal procedures and obtain title to my property.
I recently expressed the view that the RA administration needs to work towards the return of Artsvashen.
Government work requires human resources, ideas, material resources, and more importantly, creative plans and working methods.
That is the purpose of the examples I have provided.”
