“We changed everything at the last minute and changed the registration price (between 1,000 and 3,000 CFA francs) so that it would be more accessible to everyone. After that, the course was ready. We were just waiting for the authorization. Instead of four routes as originally planned, we planned only three, and then we would have at least one village. We would not be able to offer recreational activities like on the other routes.”, Julie Prunette continued.
700 participants are expected and 130 trail runners have signed up since registration opened last Monday. Sporting events will resume gradually over the rest of the year. “For the other events, everything depends on access to the planned locations. If possible, we will try to organize something in November, go to the south, to the Blue River Park in Pérignon, and try to host a stage of the VTT Pro Tour in Bourail. But at the moment, we are still unsure about access to the Déva domain, which has just reopened for the holidays. People need to be able to move around peacefully.” pointed out the co-organizer of the event.
The registration deadline for the first resumption trial is set at midnight on August 29.
