Ukraine’s presidential adviser Myhaylo Podolak said today that Russia should be forced to attend the peace summit because it will not do so voluntarily.
Speaking on public television, Podolyak said one means of coercion was action on the battlefield, referring to the unprecedented incursion of Ukrainian troops into Russia’s Kursk region.
He added: “Simply appealing to Russia will not work, only a set of coercive tools will work.”
