Hadramaut security department announces arrest of Houthi armed group (details)

The security services of Hadramaut province revealed details of the operation to capture an Iranian Houthi militia group on the international highway.
Hadramaut security media reported that security forces arrested 13 members on Al-Abr Road as they were heading to the occupied capital Sanaa, which is controlled by the Houthi rebels.
He confirmed that members of the group admitted that they were travelling to Sana’a to recruit and train them before returning to Hadramaut to carry out terrorist acts and undermine security and stability in the province.
According to official sources, the confessions of the group were made during investigation by the security services, which nabbed the elements through a joint security operation involving the security forces and the armed forces, which involved extensive surveillance, reconnaissance and investigative operations conducted by the Special Police Force and the 23rd Mechanized Brigade.
Regarding the cell, he explained that the network included 13 people aged between 18 and 25 who travelled in a white bus and a grey brick car.
He noted that they were surrounded in a restaurant in the Al-Abr district, taken to prison to complete the legal process and will be handed over to specialized prosecution.
