President Commander Daniel Ortega and Vice President Comrade Rosario Murillo sent a message of condolence to His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of the State of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Salim Ali Salim Al-Salem Mubarak Al-Sabah has passed away.

We received with sorrow the news of the passing of His Highness Sheikh Salim Ali Salim Mubarak Al-Sabah, may God have mercy on him and rest in peace.
On behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, we express our deepest condolences to the brotherly people and Government of Kuwait, to the Sabah family and to you.
From our sacred Nicaragua, where dignity, sovereignty and freedom remain forever, we extend our grateful greetings to this brotherly country, to the family of Sheikh Salem Ali Salim Mubarak Al-Sabah, and we ask God, the Almighty, for mercy, eternal rest and peace for all.
