Almaty region: Man charged with three counts of child abuse

Almaty Regional Prosecutor’s Office:

— Azamat “I” –Article 120 of Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan “rape, that is, using force or threat of force, or taking advantage of the victim’s helpless state to have sexual intercourse with the victim or another person”, Article 120, Part 4 “rape, That is, using force or threatening to use force on the victim or other persons, or taking advantage of the victim’s helpless situation, and repeatedly having sexual intercourse. And under the provisions of Article 126, paragraph 2, item 5, item 7, and Article 149, item 2, investigation will be carried out. Based on the results of the study, the issue of sending the case to the court for consideration of the case will be resolved.

This horrific incident happened half a year ago in the village of Balgabek Kiderbekuli in the Zhambyl region. In the middle of two nights, a man broke into a house with four children without adult supervision and abused the children. He beat and tied his hands and feet. He injured the youngest son’s eyes and scratched the second son’s face. Another cut his lip. At the time, their mother was in a neighboring village, and the neighbors were the first to call the police. The 47-year-old suspect was quickly arrested and the children were immediately taken to the hospital. It is not clear where the children live and with whom they live. The mother, as usual, was reluctant to answer. On the day of the incident, Akum in the village hinted that the suspect might be hungry.
