Of course, only those producers who still offer apples of export quality will be able to take advantage of such opportunities, but both countries will probably face some problems,” the source said.

It is worth emphasizing that a smaller harvest is also expected in Ukraine itself due to unfavorable weather conditions in spring and summer this year.

“Apple prices will remain high in the new 2024/25 apple season, and exporters of premium fruit and apple concentrate will again be in demand,” the analysts concluded.
