Former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga has expressed her stance on the upcoming presidential election.
Ms Kumaratunga, while speaking to a group of SLFP activists in Attanagara constituency recently, said she would not support any candidate in the presidential election.
During the meeting, some activists proposed supporting Sajith Premadasa.
In response, Ms Kumaratunga said that while she would not support any candidate, the Sri Lanka Freedom Party group was free to support any candidate they saw fit.
