Temperatures drop in southern Mozambique, hot weather in central and northern parts – Facts

The National Meteorological Institute (INAM) predicts that on Monday (12th), the 839th day of the public health emergency in Mozambique, the weather conditions will be as follows: hot weather and clear skies will continue in the provinces of Niassa, Cabo Delgado and Nampula, with temporary cloudy skies in the coastal areas of Cabo Delgado; heavy fog or local morning fog; wind direction will be from east to northeast, with mainly weak winds.

Hot weather and clear skies are expected to continue in Tete, Zambézia, Manica and Sofala provinces; fog is possible in the valleys; winds are from northeast to east, weak to moderate, with occasional local gusts along the coast.

In the provinces of Inhambane, Gaza and Maputo, INAM expects the sky to be temporarily cloudy and sunny in the coastal areas; there may be isolated drizzle in the coastal areas; the wind will change from northeast to northwest to southeast, with weak to moderate winds and local gusts.
