When President Kagame was sworn in to lead Rwanda on August 18, 2017, he declared that it was a pride to serve the Rwandans and thanked them for the trust they continued to show in him.
“I want to thank you all especially, once again for the confidence you have placed in me, and more importantly, the confidence you have placed in yourself and in each other. It is a great honor for me to continue to serve them,” he said.
Some of the things that Rwandans appreciate about President Kagame include the way he has expanded Rwanda’s relations with other countries and made Rwanda proud at the international level. Rwandans also appreciate the role he played in Rwanda’s security until he helps other countries restore security in those countries.
