Damascus (for you) – Syria reiterates that the US occupation of parts of its territory constitutes a flagrant violation of its sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity and that its support for the separatist “SDF” militias is a cheap tool to implement its anti-Syrian plans. It calls on the Syrian Arab Republic to cease these practices, immediately withdraw its troops from its territory and respect the will of Syrians who reject the presence and role of such separatist militias.

SANA received a copy of the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, which included the following statement: “So-called ‘SDF’ forces affiliated with the US occupation carried out murderous attacks against our people in Hasakah Deir ez-Zor and Qamishli, as well as villages in the eastern and northeastern regions. These brutal attacks killed many Syrian citizens, including women and children. US warplanes also supported the ‘SDF’ militias, which carried out numerous attacks on innocent civilians defending their homes, villages and properties.

“The Syrian Arab Republic reiterates that the US occupation of parts of Syrian territory is a clear violation of Syria’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, and that its support for separatist militias reflects its anti-Syrian agenda,” the Syrian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. “He stressed that this is a tool with low implementation costs,” he said.

The ministry also stressed that all these inhumane and immoral practices against the Syrian people in eastern and northeastern Syria, including the denial of food and drinking water, are aimed at doubling the suffering of the Syrians and prolonging the war against them.

“Syria demands that the United States stop these practices, immediately withdraw its troops from Syrian territory and respect the will of Syrians who reject the presence and role of such separatist militias,” the Syrian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. “This also confirms that their will to liberate their lands and protect their sovereignty will be realized, and the terrorist and criminal acts of these militias will not be curbed,” he added.
