On August 10, this Saturday, it was learned that Supreme Court Repeals the precautionary measure announced by the Third Constitutional Chamber of the Lima High Court in November 2023 to temporarily suspend the effectiveness of charges brought by the Congressional Committee on Justice and Human Rights against members of the National Courts Commission of the Ministry of Justice (JNJ).
It was recalled that Parliament recommended the removal of seven members of the Commission for alleged “serious misconduct” committed in the performance of their duties.
“Declaring the Second Resolution of November 7, 2023 invalid, the Third Constitutional Chamber decided to partially approve the precautionary measures requested by the plaintiff”, reads the letter published this Saturday.

They were: Imelda Julia Tumialan Pinto, Aldo Alejandro Vásquez Riosa, Henry José Avila Herrera, Luz Inés Tello de Ñecco, Antonio Humberto de la Haza Barrantes, María Amabilia Zavala Valladares and Guillermo Santiago Thornberry Villarán.
