Man dies in police pursuit in Bayamon, Puerto Rico

he Special Investigation Bureau (No) Del Department of Public Safety (DSP) is investigating the death of a man, about 22 years old, who died during a police pursuit in Bayamón yesterday, Friday.

According to authorities, the young man ignored the stop sign given to him by Guaynabo municipal staff and then began to fly, causing damage to four vehicles before stopping in front of the Amigos supermarket on the PR-177 highway, where he died.

The tournament begins with the Martinez Nadal Express and culminates in Bayamon.

Authorities confirmed controlled substances and cash were found in the vehicle.

Detectives from the Homicide Unit and the Special Investigations Unit (NIE) of the Bayamon Criminal Investigation Division are leading the investigation along with prosecutor Carlos Gomez.

he Puerto Rico Police Department (NPPR) – A shooting in Kaye was investigated this Saturday in which one man was murdered and two others were injured.

According to preliminary information, authorities called the 9-1-1 emergency system to alert about a shooting in the Beatriz neighborhood of the above-mentioned city.

When agents arrived on scene, they found a man with no vital signs on the side of the road and on a motorcycle with multiple gunshot wounds.

Two people associated with these incidents, a 26-year-old female and a 17-year-old minor, were transported to hospital facilities with gunshot wounds. Their status is unknown.

Special Agent Daniel Dávila, assigned to the Homicide Section of the Caguas Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) under the supervision of Police Chief David Correa, is in charge of the investigation alongside Prosecutor Inés Escobales.
