Six people were injured in a serious collision between two vehicles at around 3:30 am last night on the Verlengde Welgedacht C-weg in Suriname.
Five victims with varying degrees of injuries were taken by ambulance to the Paramaribo University Hospital emergency department. One was brought in privately.
Crews from the Suriname Fire Department were also on scene to provide assistance.
Both vehicles were severely damaged and were towed away by a towing company.
The cause of the collision is still unknown. Police are investigating the case.
