Bartosevich: I feel like I woke up from a dream
The singer, who was a guest on the TVN24 program “Wstańsz i Weekend” on Saturday morning, said she treated the 30th anniversary in a symbolic way.
– In fact, I felt like I was waking up from a dream. But this is my own interpretation. I didn’t think I would have an anniversary at all. “I didn’t expect any great musical event to happen,” she said.
– I prefer to work on my own way. I have been taking my path for some time. I am walking along it slowly, laying the foundations step by step. Suddenly, such big events are being prepared, for example, the anniversary celebrations in Sopot, she adds.

As Bartosevich said, this will be a preview of the concerts, the anniversary tour with the symphony orchestra in October.
“I’m back in shape after 22 years”
She said the band will have 50 people. – I will bring an acoustic guitar. I also invited Michał Grymuza, the guitarist from the album “Sen”, so he will also join us – she added.
She said it would be a huge undertaking and “it would definitely be fantastic”.
– As I said, it’s a little upgrade from my solo shows, because I actually started playing only with guitar. I came up with such a formula recently, and I came up with it at the Jasmine Club in Warsaw. It turns out that such sessions are in great demand, because I also speak a lot. I call it Solo Act, because I only play acoustic guitar, but I also talk about my journey, and what has happened in my life in recent years – she says.
– It was also a funny concert because I didn’t play the hits at the end, but it’s a true story of someone who had been very successful. Somehow, her life changed, she adds.
She recalled that she had “huge voice problems.” She stressed that “22 years later, she is actually getting back in shape.”
“I don’t have this masochistic view of myself”
Bartosevich said the songs she chose for “Solo Performance” “are still relevant to her in some way.”
She points out that one of the famous songs from the album “Sen” is “Koziorożec”, but, as the singer says, “I think somehow I don’t feel its message right now.”
– I don’t have this masochistic view of myself, she admits. “Let it hurt me worse, let it hurt me until I bleed,” she quotes a snippet of the song’s lyrics and says: – Today I don’t want anyone to hurt me. I set my own boundaries more and take care of myself.
Bartosevich: This is the best thing that could have happened to me
Bartosiewicz talked about her voice problems, which began in 2002. – Some people thought that I had completely lost my voice. It was not the problem. I spoke, I sang, but without that power, that voice, that support, and it actually seemed as if the worst thing that could happen in a singer’s life had already happened, she said.
– For me, in hindsight, it was the best thing that could have happened to me in my life – she admits.
She explained, “Otherwise she would not have turned back from the path she was on.” – I will not give up my faith, my strong faith. She said, I will not have another chance to pick myself up, change my perspective, open my heart to the world.
Bartosevich admits that she is a “scared, introverted” person. – I also lost a lot of things in my life because of this – she added.
“My perspective used to be black and white. I’m working on being gray.”
She also mentioned that she has never been able to cope with the pressure. – I trained volleyball for ten years, and even before that, speed skating, which was my safety valve – she said.
– Then, when I stopped training, (I realized- ed) how important physical activity is. “Honestly, I plan to start serious training again,” she said.
She added that she started practicing Tai Chi. – I love it very much. It’s actually a dance, a fight. It’s hard to call it that. For me, it’s a combination of beauty and a certain inner and outer balance (…) and also a door to another world – she said.
– I try to be open to the world, to people, and not have such rigid beliefs. I used to have more radical views, whether white or black. “I try to be gray,” she said.
