CJTFM attends CAT Palau handover ceremony

Combined Joint Task Force – Micronesia – 240802-N-ML137-1104 KOROR, Palau (Aug. 2, 2024) – Students from Aimeliik Elementary School perform a cultural dance during a change of power ceremony at the Ngarachamayong Cultural Center on Aug. 2. During the ceremony, U.S. Army 84th Engineer Battalion CAT 84-09 was relieved by U.S. Air Force 356th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Regiment CAT 356-01. The Palau Citizen Action Team provides construction support, assists and trains apprentices with general engineering skills, promotes medical outreach programs and conducts community service projects. The Palau CAT is an important component of the U.S. mission to assist and support the development of the Republic of Palau through the Compact of Free Association.
