Property market activity in Gozo picked up in July, with the number of final sales deeds increasing compared to both the previous month and last year, the National Statistics Office said today.
However, the National Statistics Office noted that Gozo had the lowest number of sales agreement commitments of all regions, at just 106.
Figures released today by the National Statistics Office show that 143 final sales deeds of residential properties were registered on Gozo in July, an increase of 21 on June and nine on July.
In the districts of Fontana, Gharb, Ghasri, Kercem, Munxar, Victoria, San Lawrenz, Sannat and Zebbug, there were 71 final sales deeds, eight more than in June and eight more than in July 2023.
In Ghajnsielem and the regions of Comino, Nadur, Qala, Xaghra and Xewkija, there were 72 people, 13 more than in June 2023 and 1 more than in July 2023.
Gozo and Comino had the lowest number of sales agreement commitments of all regions at 106, down 2 from June and 15 from July.
In the regional cluster consisting of Fontana, Garb, Guthrie, Kersheim, Monksal, Victoria, St. Lawrence, Sannat and Zeebug, the total number of committed sales agreements was 60, which is 2 more than in June and 3 more than in the same period in 2023.
In Ghajnsielem and the regions of Comino, Nadur, Qala, Xaghra and Xewkija, the number was 46, the same as in June but 18 fewer than in July 2023.
