The Global Expression Report (GxR) annually examines the rights to freedom of expression and information around the world.

The report also measures how freely everyone can express, communicate and participate in society. This includes the freedom to post online, take to the streets, investigate and get the information needed to hold leaders accountable. It also measures whether people can do this without fear of harassment, legal consequences or violence.
