Amanda Dana Stugle, also known as part of the “Lavandu Lejas” team, has now completely handed over the lavender garden to her parents, as well as her friend Gati Kronīti, who is also considered part of the family company. The “Kronīš kokapādas” team currently takes on the task – improving the yard of your house. The goal is clear – we want everything to be beautiful, neat, and not unimportant, and unusual. Their main project this year is the installation of a greenhouse and a vegetable garden. They also share their knives with us.
They both laughed about how during one conversation, when they had just started dating, Gatiss told Amanda, “If my girlfriend wasn’t the reason I wanted to build a greenhouse in my yard, then I didn’t need one.” “It didn’t hurt that he said that, I already had the greenhouse and the garden ready, so he didn’t have any choice,” Amanda laughed heartily. Her love of gardens and the virtue of work had been instilled in her family, so when she was decorating her new family nest, she naturally wanted to see every corner of the house drowned in flowers.
“We work hard to clean up the house and the yard and make it beautiful. That’s why we also need a nice greenhouse — you can’t have one corner beautiful and the other not beautiful. If you do that, then everything will be over,” Gatiss explained of the family’s philosophy.
