The Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade signs new air services agreement with Vanuatu.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade Peter Shanel Agovaka and Vanuatu’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Matai Seremaiah Nawalu signed a Memorandum of Understanding on scheduled air services between the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.

The agreement was signed this morning during the Forum’s Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Suva, Fiji.

Minister Agovaka expressed another milestone in the aviation sector through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Minister Agovaka acknowledged the special relationship between the Republic of Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands and spoke highly of the deep friendship between the peoples of the two countries which are forever geographically linked.

He thanked the Deputy Prime Minister and the Government of the Republic of Vanuatu for their unwavering commitment to strengthening relations between Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands.
