German industrial metal group Rammstein has spoken out on social media about allegations of sexual abuse and harassment against its singers. Till Lindemann.
“We have been actively addressing the allegations against the band since last summer. We take this debate seriously, even though much of it is unfounded and greatly exaggerated,” the band said in a statement released on its official Instagram account.
They added: “This is an internal process that will continue with us for a long time. Each of us approaches it differently and faces it individually. At this time, we would like to especially thank our families and loved ones for their unconditional support and outpouring of love; they have also been deeply affected by the allegations and the media’s handling of this matter.”
Several complaints from women, most of whom belonged to the group of followers known as “row zero,” who occupied exclusive seats in front of the stage, emerged in late May 2023. These complainants claimed that they had been victims of inappropriate sexual behavior while under the influence of drugs at after-concert parties.

German police investigated and concluded there was insufficient evidence to prosecute Lindemann because the allegations were made through the media rather than formally submitted to the justice system.
The band is known for its Sone yes You haveshared the statement at the end of his world tour, with his final concert taking place in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on July 31. This is not the first time they have spoken publicly about the allegations against their members.

In the same post, they expressed their gratitude to all their fans for their support during all their tours: “It’s been an honor to play for you and to be a part of these shared moments of happiness and joy.”
Likewise, they point out that the tour ended after 135 concerts over five years, with a total audience of 6 million fans.
